Executive Chairman and CEO:

Mr Wang Yan Gang


Appointed as Director on 31 December 2007, Mr Wang is the Executive Chairman and CEO, and the founder of the Group. He has more than 20 years of experience in the animal drugs industry. Mr Wang is responsible for the strategic planning and overall management and operations of the Group and also oversees its R&D activities. Prior to establishing the Group in 1996, he was a researcher and head of laboratory of Beijing Science Committee Experimental Animal Research Centre from 1986 to 1996. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Hebei Agriculture University which he obtained in 1983 and a Masters in Veterinary Medicine from Shenyang Agriculture University which he obtained in 1986. Mr Wang will retire in accordance with the Company’s Bye-Laws, and being eligible, offers himself for re-election at the forthcoming annual general meeting.



Deputy CEO:

Mr Sun Jin Guo


Appointed as Director on 31 December 2007, Mr Sun is the Group’s Deputy CEO and has been with the Group since 1999. He assists the CEO in the overall management and operations of the Group. He is also responsible for, inter alia, corporate development works focusing on new business ventures, mergers and acquisitions, special projects, feasibility studies and public relations of the Group. Prior to joining the Group, Mr Sun was the regional sales manager of Hebei Kexing Animal Drugs Co. Ltd, a company principally engaged in animal drugs and additives. He holds a Bachelor Degree in Farming from Hebei Agriculture University which he obtained in 1998.



Independent Director:

Mr Joshua Ong Kian Guan


Appointed as Independent Director on 31 December 2007, Mr Ong chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the Remuneration and Nominating Committees. He has more than 17 years of professional experience. He has practiced as a public accountant since late 2004, and is now a partner with Baker Tilly TFWLCL. In the course of his work, Mr Ong specialises in the audits of public listed companies and companies seeking to list in Singapore, financial due diligence and outsourced internal audit assignments. He is currently an independent director and the audit committee chairman of several other public companies on SGX.



Independent Director:

Mdm Feng Jing Lan


Appointed as Independent Director on 31 December 2007, Madam Feng chairs the Nominating Committee and is a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees. She is the chairperson of the China Animal Health Products Association, an association principally responsible for overseeing the production of animal drugs in the PRC, inspection of the daily operations of enterprises in the industry and analysis of the production and operating conditions of the industry. Prior to her appointment in the China Animal Health Products Association in 2000, she was the vice-division head and later division head of the Veterinary Medicine Division of the Farming Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of PRC (MOA) between 1982 and 1989. From 1989 to 1994, she was the vice station head of the National Farming and Veterinary Medicine of the MOA. Between 1994 and 2000, she was the vice head and supervisor of the Farming Bureau of the MOA. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Dongbei Agriculture College (now known as Dongbei Agriculture University) which she obtained in 1964.



Independent Director:

Mr Wong Gang


Appointed as Independent Director on 31 December 2007, Mr Wong chairs the Remuneration Committee and is a member of the Audit and Nominating Committees. A partner in law firm Shook Lin & Bok LLP since 2002, he has more than 12 years’ professional experience advising on a wide range of corporate finance and securities transactions, including stock market flotations, rights issues, securities regulation for public listed companies, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, as well as general corporate advisory work. He is also a member of Shook Lin & Bok LLP’s China practice group and has advised multinational corporations and Singapore companies on cross border transactions in China, as well as on public offerings of securities in Singapore by companies from China. He is also currently an independent director of several other public listed companies on the SGX. He has been cited by Chambers Asia as one of the leading corporate lawyers in Singapore for capital markets.
