The Group has 4 regional offices in Chengdu, Shijiazhuang, Hefei and Shenyang, which are used by us to convene sales meetings for our salespersons, conduct sales training for the salespersons and retailers and provide technical support functions to the retailers.
Research & Development
Currently, the Group conducts product development activities which concentrate on changing the composition of raw materials in animal drugs to improve the efficacy of such drugs. Our new Reseach & Development ("R&D") centre, located in our Beijing office premises, will be ready by end first quarter 2008.
We currently collaborate, and will continue to collaborate, with universities in the PRC to develop new drugs. We provide subsidies to PRC universities, its professors or students, to fund the R&D of new drugs. The decision whether to subsidise any research project is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
On the completion of our R&D centre, we intend to engage professors and doctors from several universities to work in our R&D centre directly. Specific research plans will be determined subsequently.
